EXHIBITION OF SCULPTURES

It is not by chance that Ján Ťapák is exhibiting selected works of his sculpting on the premises of Hotel Marrol´s.

Ján Ťapák, academic sculptor, a native of Bratislava, has been inseparably connected with the hotel since it opened in April 2003 and has left his mark on both the exterior and interior of this historical building.

Zuzana Malenkova

EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS

It is no accident that Zuzana Malenkova, the young artist and graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava with a specialization in graphic art, is exhibiting some of her work on the premises of Hotel Marrol's these days.

Iveta Ledererova

EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS

The art exhibition series entitled Colorful Pieces of Happiness continues at Hotel Marrol´s in 2012. Academic Painter, Veronika Lučeničová – Gabčová, kicked things off in May of last year.

Her work brought optimistic tones and a human charge to the hotel’s interior; she is also responsible for bringing the art of Academic Painter, Iveta Ledererová, an important representative of contemporary modern Slovak art, to our premises.

EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS

Since its founding, the Marrol´s hotel places great emphasis on originality in every way.  The first artistic manuscripts in the hotel came from the studio of the architect Zuzana Cambelová and the sculptor Ján Ťapák. 

The charm of the interior’s colonial style of the 1920s and 1930s and attention to detail are the hallmark of work by architect Zuzana Cambelová: in 2003 she was nominated to receive the Dušan Jurkovič Award for her work in the Marrol´s hotel.

Anna Galkova, Anton Galko

Exhibition „Colorful Pieces of Happiness“

„Anna Galková and Anton Galko, the Painters, they met during their studies at the Academy of Fine Art in Bratislava ( 1949 – 1951 ) and at the Academy of Fine Art in Prague, where they trained with Prof. V. Sychra ( 1951-1954/1955).

Since they married in 1955, the have lived in Bratislava. Their livelong work focuses on small scale painting: portraits, figural compositions, landscapes and still lifes.
